Spray Tan Instructions
Before
1. Shave, and have any facial/body waxing done at least 24 hrs before your appointment.
2. Your skin needs to be bare, so please come with no deodorants, fragrances?perfumes, lotions, moisturizers, makeup, sunscreen, or oil on your skin/face.
3. It is okay to have acrylic nails/ nail polish on before your spray tan appointment, the spray tan will NOT ruin your nails.
4. Exfoliate with an oil oil free exfoliate prior to your appointment.
5. Eyelash extensions are okay to have on! However, because of the way eyelash extensions are applied before you spray appointment of after the initial shower.
6. Wear loose, cool dark clothing to and from your spray tan. (Note: feel free to come in jammie's/sweats)
7. Do NOT wear necklaces, bracelets or any jewelry.
During
Dress to your comfort. Some clients wear a bra/undies, others a bathing suit, some go in their birthday suit.
If its raining or snowing the day of your appointment, it is recommended that you bring an umbrella and/or wear protective
clothing.
If you take your bra off when you're getting sprayed, it is recommended that you wait 3hrs to put it back on. However, if you need to put your bra on after your stray tan, it is recommended you put your bra on the loosest clasp in the back with the straps tucked in.
When needed, wash only the insides of your hands while the spray is developing. The most effective way to do this is with hand sanitizer or and antibacterial wipe.
After
Original Stray Tan Solution:
Requires between 8-12 hours to fully develop. You can rinse off the solution after 10 hours.
Rapid Stray Tan Solution:
Rinse off time depends on your skin type, and your desired level of darkness. Consult with Tayla, on what your recommended rinse off time is!
Initial Rinse Off Instructions:
Do not use soap, shampoo, or any other body products during your initial rinse off.
After Your First Shower:
Pat dry instead of scrubbing dry. You can apply deodorant and fragrances. You can work our/sweat/get wet.
Remember to moisturize regularly to maintain the tan & help it fade evenly.
